Powerful Information Management Tools
Using a graphical user interface, Athene's information management tools allow subscribers to define and distribute information via the Internet. Without computer programming skills, users are able to quickly define "folders" of information and securely share them with anyone they deem. Using Athene's strong user account controls, communication barriers driven by geography and organizational affiliations disappear.

Athene's "Information Center" houses the tools used to add, maintain, and delete information folders. Information folders organize information and provide secure shared access. Folders can represent virtually anything. Using Athene's Flexible Folder Administration tools, subscribers define which data elements and functions constitute a folder type. Users can then select a folder type, populate it with data, and store it in their filing system (domain structure) where it can be securely shared with others via the Internet.

The typical information folder contains several tab sheets. Using Athene's Flexible Folder Administration tools, subscribers are able to easily format the content of each tab sheet. Using login accounts, subscribers are able to control the read and write priviledges of each user. This enables collaboration between subscriber controlled users.

Information Center features can be used to fulfill many different applications. See our Business Solutions page for examples.

Typical Information Folder

In this sample information folder, the subscriber is modeling the configuration of computers deployed in his customer's network. The "Hardware" tab is being used to track subscriber defined hardware attributes. The "Software" tab is being used to track subscriber defined software attributes. The "Location" tab interfaces with Athene's address management tool. The "Contacts" tab interfaces with Athene's point-of-contact management tool. The subscriber built this folder template and made it available for use in less than 15 minutes.

Filing System (Domain Structure)

In this sample filing system (domain structure), the subscriber is using a geographic model for organizing his information storage system. This model helps make it easy for users to locate and maintain desired information. The domain structure is designed and maintained by the subscriber. This sample structure was created in less than 10 minutes. Each domain in the domain structure is used as a drawer for containing information folders. Domain structure access is limited by each login account.

Information Folder List

By interacting with their assigned domain structure, users are able to browse a list of information folders and open the desired folder. A user's login account determines his folder read, write, and awareness privileges.

Reporting Tools

Comprehensive reporting tools allow subscribers to retrieve information from their database using "point-of-interest" filters. Report results can be presented on-screen or optionally sent as a Comma Separated Value (CSV) file. Using an intuitive user interface, report format is controlled by the subscriber.

Graphical Reports

Both graphical and tabular report formats are provided. This is a graphical example.

Tabular Reports

Both graphical and tabular report formats are provided. This is a tabular example.
